The catalogue has four sections:
Main herb plant list (in alphabetical order of common name)
Aromatic / ornamental list (in alphabetical order of Latin name)
Kitchen garden plant list (in order of common name)
Period plant list (in order of Latin name)
We specialise in producing the more unusual cultivars and species (in limited quantities) or grow to order, given reasonable notice. Our plant list gives a guide to what is available and there are always interesting plants that are not listed.
Pricing: Most plants are grown in two sizes of pot,
9 cm square and round 1 litre. At the nursery 9 cm pots of common herbs
sell for £2.00 and 1 litre pots for £2.50. The rarer
and difficult to propagate plants cost more. There are usually a
small number of large, mature, plants at somewhat higher prices.
Roses in 1.5 litre upwards are priced from £5.00.
We are geared to personal shoppers; mail order is a new and small part
of our business and we do not have an itemised price list. As a price guide:
Most herbaceous herbs £2.50 each
Rarer species and Aromatic / ornamental plants from £3.00 each
Shrubby herbs 1 litre+, from £3.50
Roses: from £5.00
Postage and packing extra, charged at cost
